Comparison guide
PI is optimized for the employer's question: does this candidate's behavioral pattern fit the job we're hiring for? Its outputs feed into role targets and manager playbooks.
Blueprint is built on Eric Berne's Transactional Analysis and David McClelland's motivation research (nAch, nAff, nPow). It's designed for the person's question: what am I chasing, how do I meet people, and how do these two things play out across work, dating, parenting, friendship, and everyday life?
PI is designed to inform hiring decisions. Blueprint is explicitly not — we don't recommend using it to screen candidates. It's a tool for self-understanding and relational insight, from the personal end rather than the org-chart end.
Blueprint is not a clinical tool, not a diagnosis, and not a hiring instrument. It's a relational map for self-understanding and conversation.
